SportsFX Partners with FIFPRO Asia Oceania

To Protect Players’ Earnings Across the Region

We’re excited to announce a landmark moment for SportsFX and professional football across Asia and Oceania.

FIFPRO Asia/Oceania — the division of the world players’ union representing over 6,000 professional footballers across 10 nations — has chosen SportsFX as its first-ever official external partner, appointing us as its Official Currency Partner.

This partnership is about one thing: helping players protect their income, wherever football takes them.

Why This Matters for Players

For years, footballers moving between clubs and countries have faced a hidden challenge: managing their income across multiple currencies.

Transfers, relocation payments, prize money, and overseas wages can all be eroded by poor exchange rates or a lack of strategy. And until now, there has been no structured support in this space.

That changes today.

Through this partnership, players across Asia and Oceania will now have direct access to:

  • Personalised currency support for international transfers and relocations

  • Bank-beating exchange rates and zero hidden fees on currency transfers

  • Real-time guidance and strategies to protect and grow their income

  • Education and financial literacy programs built for professional athletes

FIFPRO Asia/Oceania on the Partnership

Shoko Tsuji, Secretary General of FIFPRO Asia/Oceania, explained why this partnership is such an important step forward:

“Footballers often move between clubs and countries, and their salaries are paid in varied currencies — all of which can present financial challenges that are difficult to navigate.
By partnering with SportsFX, we’re equipping players with trusted, cost-effective tools to manage their income wherever football takes them. Just as importantly, this partnership will help build players’ financial literacy and provide ongoing support for managing their finances with confidence.”

What This Means for SportsFX

For SportsFX Founder Chris Broadfoot — a former professional footballer himself — this partnership represents both a personal milestone and a major opportunity to help players across the region:

“As someone who has experienced professional football firsthand, I know how vital it is for players to have financial support they can trust. At SportsFX, we’ve built our services specifically for players — from managing large international transfers to providing real-time guidance and education.
Our long-standing partnership with the PFA in Australia has already helped hundreds of players, and now, through FIFPRO Asia/Oceania, we’re proud to deliver that same value to thousands more across the region.”

What’s Next

Over the coming weeks, SportsFX and FIFPRO Asia/Oceania will launch a co-branded player hub — a dedicated landing page where players and agents can access tools, book free strategy calls, and learn how to protect their earnings.

We’ll also be rolling out a series of educational webinars designed specifically for professional athletes and their agents, ensuring every player has the knowledge they need to make informed financial decisions — not just for their careers, but for their futures.

A New Era of Player Support

This partnership marks the beginning of a new standard in player support. With FIFPRO Asia/Oceania’s backing, we’re bringing elite-level financial expertise to the players who need it most, ensuring they can focus on what they do best — performing on the pitch — while we protect what they earn off it.

If you’re a FIFPRO Asia/Oceania member, stay tuned. The official SportsFX x FIFPRO hub is coming soon.
